Bar Harbor Bank & Trust Half Marathon and Fall 5k

In the early 20th century, John Rockefeller Jr. constructed a network of carriage roads in Acadia National Park, designed to bypass motor traffic. Endurance athletes now enjoy these historic, firm-packed trails, starting from the quaint fishing village of Bar Harbor and traversing into the dense forest of the National Park. The course features scenic vistas, including several impressive granite bridges, providing a blend of natural beauty and history. Participants receive medals, with additional t-shirts offered to selected registrants, enhancing the memorable experience of running through this iconic and verdant landscape.
