Philip Kiplimo grinded past more than 820 runners to win in 02:19:02, followed by James Kipleting Korir who finished with a time of 02:20:13. The third place went to Mulu Alemneh Alem with a time of 02:24:05
In the women’s race, Vitalyne Jemaiyo Kibii won the race with a time of 02:32:08 , followed by Megertu Tafa Megersa who finished with a time of 02:36:07. Finishing third was Hanna Kumlin (02:56:06).
