Writers in Residence’s Juvenile Justice 5k - OH

Do you believe in second chances? April is recognized as Second Chance Month for juveniles who are incarcerated in the justice system. Help Writers in Residence transform the lives of justice-involved youth through creative writing and mentorship by running in its inaugural 5k race where the organization started: John Carroll University located in University Heights, Ohio.

Enjoy a nice weekend 1-mile walk from John Carroll University’s campus through the beautiful neighborhood of University Heights, Ohio where it calls home. You don’t need to break a sweat to support a great cause! Families, friends, and dogs on leash are encouraged.

Attendees can only park in the following designated areas where it's first come, first served:
On-campus - Boler Lot, Expansion Lot (across from Hamlin Quad), and Dolan Science Center Parking Lot.
BP Lot on Millford (across from Pizzazz).

Sorry, but all entries are non-refundable. Once we’ve received and processed your entry, you will not receive a refund, you may not give or sell your race number to other people, and entry fees are not transferable to the next year’s race or any other race.
