The Big Run Decatur - Decatur, GA

Join us for an exhilarating celebration of running and community spirit as we lace up our running shoes for The Big Run on Global Running Day! On June 5th, we invite all running enthusiasts and supporters to participate in a monumental endeavor: running the entirety of the City of Decatur, covering a remarkable 80 miles collectively.

Individuals, families, and running groups are encouraged to embark on their chosen routes across the city. Whether you're a seasoned marathoner, weekend warrior, or a walker, everyone is welcome to contribute to this monumental challenge. The clock will be ticking as we aim to complete the entire 80 miles by 6:00 PM.

But the excitement doesn't end there! As the day progresses and participants conquer their respective legs of the challenge we will all convene at the store to finish the mileage and celebrate our accomplishment. At 6:30pm, join us for the final leg of our journey as we come together to run the last 3 miles of the city as one united community.

Starting Point: Once you have registered you will receive a confirmation email. The email will contain a link to a sign up genius, with routes. Choose the 1 - 3 mile route that suits you!

Starting Time: Run anytime on June 5th, but complete your chosen route and submit your form by 6pm/

Time of Final Run: 6:30pm. We will meet at 6:30 to run 3 miles together. That can be your only run of the day, your second run of the day, or you can skip those miles and start the festivities!
